update - I can't login using Chrome browser but can with Firefox which is a bit strange. I have even cleared the cache totally and it still does not work in Chrome.

AntoniJ1975 "I can't login using Chrome browser but can with Firefox "
The error message you are seeing does seem to be caused by a corrupt cookie stored in the browser.
So if you cannot login with Chrome that suggests that on your device Chrome still has the corrupt cookie stored. However, if you can login using Firefox that suggests that on your device Firefox is not using the corrupt cookie.

It seems to be a cookie that's the problem rather than stored data. Firefox lets you delete cookies from specific sites so you just need to delete the cookies from VM sites.
I don't use Chrome but just looking at it, it seems that the only option in Chrome is to "Delete cookies and other site data". So I would suggest running that option again, then closing Chrome down . Then you reopen it and try again to login to VM.

Hi AntonJ1975
As per the screenshot below, using Chrome go to Settings > Password & Privacy >
Then on the right hand side under Settings & Privacy, click on Delete Browsing Data.
You will then have a choice determining what you wish to delete and whether it's on one device or all devices. If you just want to delete cookies and other site data then click on the Advanced tab and select that option. You can also decide how far back the actions go, for example 1 hour, 24 hours, or all time

I am having the same problem as Anton using my Chromebook Still getting the Ooooops message as the OP quoted in his first post.
I have, this morning, once again deleted cookies and other site data and also cleared the cache. I have a fault ticket P013052883 in place for over 3 weeks. Which if you need my permission to access you most certainly have it.
Spoke to 2nd line on 14th June as I still couldn't access My Virgin Media and was informed that, as I was not the only person unable to sign in and getting the " unusual" Oooops message, the fault was being worked and due to be fixed in 1 to 2 days.
Left it till today and as it hasn't been fixed and spent 30 minutes trying to speak to a human being, I did get through but whilst speaking to her for several minutes and her eventually looking at the fault ticket she said that she couldn't hear me and to hang up and she would phone me back. The agent chose to phone me back on my mobile phone which I couldn't get to in time, rather than the landline which should be showing up as the preferred number to use. Can't face using the 150 nightmare route again sooooooooo
So could you please see what is happening.

Thanks for all the suggestions I have tried them but nothing worked. I was still getting the oops message however I tried an incognito/private window and was able to sign in chrome which I maybe thought an extension was causing it so I disabled all of them and was able to sign in normally. The strange thing now is I enabled all my extensions/addons again and I'm still able to sign in without an issue. So maybe tried what I did and it will work for you.

I also have the same problem and receive the same error message as OP.
Unfortunately none of the above suggestions worked for me I still get the error message and can't login. Thank you however for the suggestions ,any others gratefully received as having already phoned VM helpdesk with a not dissimilar experience to jocatzI can't face calling again.
Hope it is sorted soon as in my opinion it is clearly a VM issue and not a me problem!
