2nd email address but only one account

I can't link my secondary email address to my vm account as the account is already linked to my primary email address. I have set up a second vmo2 id but can go no further without linking to an account. I have read of many similar problems but have seen no resolution.

  • I can offer no help but I have a similar problem. I have two email addresses associated with my VM account. The primary one is my own and there is a secondary email address for my wife. To the best of my recollection, when I obtain a new APP password in the past it applied to both email addresses. The one I have just obtained allows Outlook to load my emails but this app password does not work with my wife's mailbox. Do I need to create a second app password specifically for her? If so, how to I navigate the My VM account to do this?

    The secondary e-mail address would need a third party e-mail account to be generated.

      You seem to have missed the point.

      I have my Virgin Media O2 ID linked to my Virgin Media account, my wife also has a Virgin Media O2 ID using a third party e-mail account but can't link it to my Virgin Media account as my email/Media O2 ID is already linked to it. If we skip "Link" step on sign in, the only access we get is to the VMO2 ID settings & security setting. We can not get to emails.

      Please give detailed explanation of how to set up the  second VMO2-ID 

      As a customer of 30+ years, using this same email address it is so frustrating that I can no longer connect my lap top to this address. (access is still working via mobile phone)

        Thank you for coming back to us. To confirm have you gone into Settings and security settings to check for further options for this?
