£8/month!! They prolly don't cost that for VM to buy! Not only that, they are the least useful form of access point because you do not control your WiFi settings. The wretched CONNECT app (see the hundreds of scathing threads about that app) screws up the Hub 4. Buying your own mesh system is a better technical solution and frees you from the constraints forced on you by the VM Pods.
