Internet down

Hi all, I just want to see what other people’s experiences are, we have had virgin media for less than a month and now currently experiencing are second period of no internet access. 

Is this a common thing with virgin? I need a stable connection for work so if it carries on I will need to leave.

    Which VM Hub do you have and what lights does it display during the internet outages ?

    Note there is no SLA for Residential Contracts.  If WFH is very important, consider a backup solution, e.g. SIM based router.

    Check with Area faults on  0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.  If any issues exist, VM will not send out engineers whilst a fault exists.

    If you can, please post the power levels, Pre and PostRS errors and network log from the Hub.  

    Setup a BQM to monitor your circuit www.thinkbroadband.com/ping 

    Run a wired speed test on www.samknows.com/realspeed and post the results.

    Once done we can comment.

    We can see there was an area issue however this has now been fixed.
