i would like a new wifi booster

I have a PC in my upstairs bedroom where the Wi-Fi doesn't reach. I have been using an extender and ethernet cable in order to have access to the wifi, however in recent months the internet connection has dropped to a 21 mbps download speed and 20 mbps upload speed, and I was wondering what I can do about it. I think the wifi extender is over 5 years old now and no matter how many times I resync and set it up the speed stays the same.

    When you run the Connect App tests for the WiFi, what result do you get? You can post your results here.

    Is this your own Wifi extender, or is it the old VM type ?  Depending on your Contract, the new Wifi  Pods from VM will either be free, or £8 pm.
