    Unless you have opened up lots of port forwarding or DMZ, then AVG are simply trying to get you to sign up for their VPN.

    If you're not sure or really trust AVG then factory reset the modem & scan again.   It's almost impossible to install rouge code on any Docsis router.

Many thanks to the posters who responded, deeply appreciated. In short, DMZ was disabled and still is. There were 2 ring extenders that did nothing and have now been removed. AVG package up for renewal soon 😜 Reset router and rescanned, all appears good again. Many thanks to all 👍

    I suggest you scrap AVG and go for Malwarebytes.  Especially so if others can second my suggestion.
