connecting my solax battery dongle

Since moving to virgin BB I cannot connect my battery storage dongle to my Virgin router.  It connected before to my previous BB supplier no problem.  Has anyone else had this problem and got a solution?

    I'm assuming you have a Solax battery dongle that supports Wi-Fi on the 2.4GHz band only.

    Is the problem

    1) the VM Hub is located in a different place to the previous ISP Router and now the dongle has no signal ?

    2) or is the problem there is a usable Wi-Fi signal at the dongle that works on your mobile phone, but the dongle is unable to see that signal ... in which case do you have a VM Hub 5 ?

    3) or my crystal ball is clearly very cloudy, do fill in the missing details !

    Hub not good for odd things like this VM only want you to connect normal things.

    You can put hub in modem mode with a better supported router with 1Gb ports
