Black Pods review

Thought I would do a quick review.

Pod arrived, these are Wifi 6.

Has two LAN ports on the rear that say "internet" but there is no further info on these as it could be assumed

1) It acts a Wifi repeater as the instructions advised to keep it at the midpoint of where it needs to go, and then you can hard wire a device.

2) It acts as a wireless access point where you have ethernet cables running long distances, and they give you a second ethernet port to make up for the used first port.

Or it could run in both modes.

It hasn't been 24 hours yet but getting 600 meg download rate from speedtest on my phone.

I have an outbuilding that has ethernet wired but for security reasons I may want a separate wifi network for this.

From the Hub 5 there is no menu that allows you to control the pod. Typing in the IP address does nothing either, so I think all the controls are automatic.

Why would Wi-Fi in an outbuilding need any different security to the home ?

For convenience we use the same SSID / Password throughout.
