What value is shown for AS Name when browsing to https://1.1.1.1/help? If it is :
- reported as Virgin Media then what happens when browsing to http://protonvpn.com
- not reported as Virgin Media then the network's DNS is either:being overridden on the device or if using a third-party router on it

Hey manabana Thanks for reaching out to us on the Virgin Media forums. 👋🏼
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are having with web safe.
May I ask after the changes, whether or not you've managed to reboot the hub?
This allows the changes to take place and take effect.
Let us know and we can go on from there.
Kind regards,
Ilyas. - ELM2278Tuning in
I am having the exact same issues. It's not blocking anything anymore and all adult content is allowed through. I have disabled / re enabled, reset & restarted not nothing works.

Hey ELM2278,
Sorry that you have been having this issue, we can see you have posted in multiple threads, we would advise against this as it can cause confusion when trying to resolve your issue, we have responded back to you in your other thread, please get back to us there.

Hi
Ive just noticed that I am also having the same issue with Web Safe. I have rebooted the Hub, turned off web safe and back on again, and still no sites are being blocked. Could you please help.
Thanks

Hi just curious if yous had any luck? I am having the same issue too. No vpns downloaded, I had a new hub inserted as the engineer didn't have a clue how it was happening either, but now a month into the new hub they've stopped blocking again. Really frustrating.

Sorry, missed your messages! No luck whatsoever in over three weeks, my family have access to anything and everything on the Internet. It seems to be affecting many people on the forum? I've been with Virgin Media for years and never had this issue?

When private browsing on iOS 17, Safari overwrites your DNS settings, which would bypasses Child Safe
