V6 box not working

V6 box as gone completely now VM text a link to do a test but all it’s doing is a figure of eight death dance for over 10 minutes now

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean by a "figure of eight death dance" - I presume the figure-of-eight reference is to the VM infinity logo?

    From memory the option to receive a text message is just that, and if you call back immediately you should be put into the queue for a faults agent.

      What call back I can’t even web chat with them but knowing VM they’ve probably got rid of web chat and they’re  IT people haven’t bothered removing the option from the website

    If you explain the problem you have, you may well be able to get help on here and avoid the need to call. Otherwise, all we can suggest is calling 150 or 0345 4541111 and choosing the faults option.

      V6 keeps on rebooting after getting the error code V53

    For a V6 stuck in a reboot loop, try the following.

    Try turning off the V6 at switch; then on the box hold down both the power button and the +button at the same time. Then turn on the V6 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds. The box should reboot, the power button should turn blue, and it should reset and boot up normally.

    If this fails, then you'll need to report the fault. Either by calling in, or waiting on here for VM staff to respond.
