Tivo v6 issues

I have tried to delete several recordings on my box tonight, 

They still show on the list of all my recordings - BUT - they are greyed out ?

Turned off wifi and the box itself for 5 minutes and the machine started up with the "Hello" screen and then went to the last channel I was watching. Then I checked my list of recorded shows and they are still there .

Dont want to do a full factory reset as there are a few shows I havent watched or want to watch them again.

Any other ideas as it seems to be a well know VM fault

I will post an update after 12.00 (UK) time
