Power Adapter for V6 box

Hi,
The power cable for my V6 box broke, the thin cable where it comes out of the power brick.
I contacted Customer Services through the online chat on 18 December (as an aside the bot on the customer service chat is horrendously bad, the whole process took 40 minutes). Was told a new adapter kit would be with me in 3 to 5 working days and that I would receive an email when it was dispatched.
The only emails I've received were regarding renewing my contract which I am somewhat loathe to do seeing as I currently cannot use my main box.
Is there any way to find out if the replacement part has actually been ordered for me?

    We can check this but it should have arrived now, even with the Christmas delivery dates.
