No catch up on The Day of the Jackal

Hi, I missed the first few episodes on sky showcase but when I try to get the first few episodes on catch up/ on demand I get as far as selecting the first episode then get a temporarily unavailable message, tried a few times now with no luck. Anyone had any success with this?

    There are 9 episodes available to watch and working on my 360 box when using the search icon on the home screen for both Sky Showcase and Sky On Demand Ultra HD. I can also access and play all 9 episodes when clicking on TV Shows > Channels > Sky On Demand Ultra HD and also when clicking on TV Shows > Channels > Sky Showcase

      Thanks for your reply, I have a V6 box, not sure if this makes any difference, later episodes have recorded as requested.

        I also have a V6 box running the TiVo system and all nine episodes to date are available on demand.  I started episode one to check and it began playing without issue.

  • I was away when the series started so clicked series link on return which gives me the later episodes recorded as normal with the option to select the others from number one onwards from catch up. Whichever way I try I get the above message so I am now thinking 669 on the message must be some sort of fault code.

      Error 669 is indeed a fault code. But which episodes are giving that error?

  • When I get these messages on streaming services I turn the power off then back on again and then it works.

  • As you would expect we started from episode number one which showed the fault code, however I have carried out a reboot which has resolved the issue so hopefully this may help someone with the same issue.
