Which 'box' do you want moving? (The forum team don't actively monitor the chat/natter forums, so if you advise which box you have then we can move your post to the correct forum)
Is this a new installation? If not there would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require
You can call 150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faults) When calling Faults ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.
Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you (once we place the post in the appropriate forum) and arrange a tech visit.

Hi there, thanks for coming back to me. It's the box we have upstairs in our bedroom, we would like it moved to another bedroom at the other side of the house.

The Box in the Bedroom, the Hub or is it a 2nd TV box?
If the Hub,
Why not run a cable from the the hub to the other side of the house. You could then plug that into another Router which would then be a Cable hub & WiFi access point. I have used a "Tenda AC23 AC2100 Smart WiFi Router" in this type of configuration for the last year.

Hi - I also have the same request. I have followed the steps above but cannot get to speak to a person. The whatsapp option has never worked (the message never comes through). Please can someone help book a visit to relocate the position of the TV socket? I am happy to pay the £25 fee. Thank you for your help

Hi nickashforth
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Sorry to hear you've not been able to speak with someone regarding your request to relocate the set-top box.
We can look to arrange an engineer for you for this request. As you say, there is a £25 call-out charge for this request that you'll see on your next generated bill after the appointment is completed.
Please join me on private message so I can locate your account and pass account security. You can see your private messages at the top of the page, in the envelope icon or if you're using a smaller device, you can see your private messages by clicking on the Virgin Media logo at the top right and selecting 'Messages' from the drop-down.
