362Mbps & TV would we get the stream box

I was wondering, has the rollout of Virgin Stream now happened across all packages? I was planning to purchase the 362Mbps package for £34.99 today. My question is: will this come with the V6 box that includes recording capabilities, or will it be the Virgin Stream box? I quite like the idea of just being able to plug it in, but I’d miss the ability to record. I am in Northern Ireland, across the water, so I’m just checking. i dont want to go to sky cause my router is not compatibly with virgins I can just pass it through as uplink

Also if i get the stream can I simply still use modem mode.

    Hi david40ni

You would be better contacing VM Ireland about that as they operate differently to us.

The V6 boxes were discontinued around 3 years ago (possibly longer) here in the UK and was superceded by the recordable 360 box (it might be called Horizon in Ireland).  Over here we stopped selling the TV360 box around 4 months ago, although if new customers contact Sales they can order it for an additional £49.99 activation fee. They might do the same over in Northern Ireland.   Over here though all new installs are with the non recordable IP based Stream box.

EDIT -  Regarding Modem mode - over here all hubs aprt from the hub5x offer modem mode, however the hubs are different in  your neck of the woods.  I believe you may be offered the hub 6 which we haven't got and they use IPV6 which may need changing to IPV4 to allow modem mode.
