Dear oh dear, what a mess, trying to watch Liverpool v Bournemouth and then picture started breaking up. Tried rebooting, no JOY!!! What a mess. Reading other comments the problem appears to be widespread. Virgin, please get it sorted!!

Absolute shambles trying to see the PL game last night through a pixilated fog, so missed 80% of the game; only cleared in the 94th minute. What makes me most angry is none of the VM contact numbers (150 or 0345 etc...) were accepting calls and when I tried to log on, VM said they didn't recognise my account - really after 24 years!!
VM has over 4 Million TV customers, most of whom use broadcast receiver boxes. If, as happened last night, the core network broadcast distribution encoder fails, even 5 percent of that number trying to call or access information at the same time would swamp the system.
