If you could post a picture of the part you think is faulty that would help as some parts are only carried by engineers. I think you would be better with an engineer visit to replace the part just call Virgin on 150 from your Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone or wait for a member of the forum team to pick this up which could be 2 to 3 day's.
There could also be a delay with a response from the forum team due to Christmas.
When phoning choose the option to report a fault, then ignore all the options offered and you should then be placed into a queue to speak to someone.

What you should do is to simply report the problem you have in order to get a tech to come round. Don't try and diagnose it.

The lead that splits the broadband input between the hub3 and tv360 has developed a fault. Will virgin supply a replacement

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post. This board is not a fault reporting system.
