I just checked episode 6, and it has subtitles! I went back through all the episodes I have watched; they all have subtitles except episode 2 and episode 5. Something very strange is happening with just those two! I don't know if episode 7 or later has them or not ... I guess I will find out!

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with subtitles on some of the episodes you're watching.
Just to confirm, is this for The Day of the Jackal or another show?
Is this on your set top box or over the TVGO app?
I can never receive subtitles on the ultra channels 175 & 999. Although my TV is not ultra, I can watch the channels fine - just without the subs.
So, I can never watch those channels as my hearing is not 100% - big shame as there is a lot of good stuff on there!
Hi 45RPM thanks for your post although we're sorry you're unable to use the Subtitles feature on the Ultra HD Channels.
Unfortunately, Subtitles are not always available on every channel or TV show - it is the broadcaster that provides these but we will of course pass on your feedback.

It is through the TV. Jut watched episode 7, and it has subtitles (phew). I have not seen the on other shows, just Jackal.

... to be clear, "through the TV" means using a set top box and a television!
