Once upon a time a pay tv subscription, like VM, was all one needed to view all content, especially sport. Fast forward to  present day, one needs to have all manner of subscriptions, i.e. Discovery+ etc. All the while, rather than decreasing, a subsription for pay tv is still increasing each year. Like, VM should not offer TNT sports if they are only shadowing the channel of available content and discount accordingly.

It doesn't make sense, if you are offering TNT, then provide all the content available. Like , I pay for TNT  via VM, but do not get full service . I am paying for something I do not get in full. Moreover, I am not advised as such when renewing my subscription, that I will only recieve partial content. So, if I were to take TNT off my package, I would be signing a new contract from that date.

If discovery+ are charging £30+ a month then I should be discounted that £30 off my VM subscription, and back dated accordingly.

  • Hi vander18

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

Can you elaborate on this for us, what are you not getting when subscribed to TNT please?

Virgin Media provide access to TNT Sports linear broadcast channels - are you having problems with these channels?

I suspect the latest post in this thread from Cardiffman282 is probably right, in referring to what you're alluding to?

It would be an understatement to say that the OP  isn't very happy with VM's carriage of TNT Sports.  They forecast what they felt would happen  <Here> two years ago

Dose anyone else get the feeling TNT sports is morphing in to Discovery+ for an extra subscription?

The OP has been dissatisfied with TNT at least 7 months, since Eurosport was removed as free standalone channels available to UK broadcasters.   For example <this post>

I guarantee not all eurosports will be covered on tnt thus a further subscription to discovery + will be required.
just another thieving mechanism by providers to drain customers of cash

      And <This one> from 3 months ago

tnt sports used to tellivise nearly all ALF games live as of 2 weeks ago only about 60% of games. the other 40% are now only available  on discovery+ whilst i have a basic discovery+ supscription i am unable to watch unless i upgrade to premium fot £39 i am denied access. this is a scam! why should i pay again for content that was available with my TNT sports on VM untill two week ago?
