Multi Room

I'm looking to get a TV package with multi room, but are the boxes linked? I'm not wanting the boxes to be linked. I want to record one program upstairs and not see it downstairs.

SkyQ boxes are now linked and it's not suitable for our needs. Thanks for any help.

  • If you are a new customer with 360 and in a coax connected area you will receive one 360 main box with hard drive where all recordings will be and any multiroom boxes are now streaming boxes called Flex.

If you are in a new fibre optic area you can only have streaming boxes.

You are looking for something that is now from a bygone era as far as pay TV is concerned.

The VM equivalent of the Sky+HD box multiroom service, the TiVO V6, is no longer provided to new customers. The replacement V360 Horizon boxes, like SkyQ now has pooled recordings on a central box.

Should you have multiple streaming boxes (known as Flex) which are the only ones supplied in the new XGS-PON areas, you can have multiple profiles and so set up different My Watchlists (VM's term for playlists).
