Logitech Harmony and Tivo CT8620

Have updated the Tivo CT8620 box to Virgin 360 and now the Tivo CT8620 won't respond to the Logitech Harmony 650 universal remote control. Have tried reprogramming it with different names for the Tivo unit as suggested by Logitech, but all to no avail.

Am regretting updating the Tivio box as everything was fine before. In fact, we're now getting so used to not having any VirginMedia box whatsoever, so it might be as well for us to change over to a broadband only service at the next opportunity.

Any suggestions on how to get the Logitech Harmony 650 remote to engage with the updated Tivo box (or vice versa)?

Thanks

V360 is nothing to do with TiVO. It runs on Horizon firmware. It’s like converting a laptop from the Windows to the Linux operating system & then expecting all Windows apps to work on it. Horizon is a Dutch based operating system, so try looking for Ziggo  ( the cable operator that developed it).

  • Ok - have gone back to the Logitech Harmony Universal Remote Control and have gone to new device set up. have entered 'Ziggo' for the name of the manufacturer and CT8620 for the model number. It doesn't appear to recognise the model number and suggests alternatives. See attached images. Honestly, I just need VirginMedia to tell me what to enter having updated my Tivo box to V360. It worked before with the device recognised as Tivo CT8620, so if they could tell me the manufacturer and the model number (post changes)

I'd be well on my way.
