Activation on TV chanels

I updated my TV package from MIXIT TV to MEGA TV on Saturday. Does anyone know how long it will take to activate. Been on chat and they don’t seem to know. I have had an email to say the contract has been changed

    If you did it online, up to 14 days ( no this is not a joke... )

    If you did it over the phone it's instant. 

    Makes sense to someone I'm sure.
