MIXIT channels missing

Sky crime is no longer working. I can't view a recording from a few days ago.

Also can't find Aircraft investigation, Aussie gold hunters and Outback opal hunters.

  • I think you've worked it out. Whenever you change package, any elements of your contract that are legacy must be moved to the current equivalent.

Maxit is a legacy top-tier package which has been replaced with Mega-TV, substantially the same except for TNT Sports & some ITV-X bits. Mixit-TV is broadly Freeview-equivalent, and that would explain your issues with Sky Crime HD.

Check the table at the bottom of this page for reference - https://www.virginmedia.com/virgin-tv-edit/tips-and-tricks/virgin-tv-channel-guide

All distance sales - VM TV package changes included - come with statutory 14days "change of mind" right of return. Sounds like you need to compare the packages and potentially back your new contract out in order to renegotiate a new package that suits your needs.

More questions than answers I'm afraid!

What specifically happens when you try viewing a recording from Sky Crime? Was it recorded from Sky Crime SD or HD, and when was it recorded?

Sky Crime HD is in EPG-position 121 - can you view it?

Can you explain more, by what you mean in "I can't find" particular programmes?

Hi. It was recorded on Sky Crime HD which can no longer be viewed.

Quote- "We're sorry, but this recording can't be viewed unless you have a current subscriotion to Sky Crime HD"

I'm thinking now it might be my new contract starting yesterday. I was on Maxit tv but on renewal was told I would have to have Mixit tv.

        Thanks.

Is the 14 day "change of mind", 14 days from signing new contract or from when the contract starts ?

I believe it's from when you sign it, at the very least it should be from when you agreed contract terms.

Are you suggesting that you agreed this new contract more than 14days ago, and the changes were post-dated?
