Getting old box?

We recently got into a new contract with Virgin Media, and they gave us their latest box, which is absolutely awful, so slow to use and really difficult for my elderly family members to use. is there ANY way i could have the model i used to have (arris tivo) box sent back to me? i hate this box so much and would much rather have the older model back.

It sounds like you've migrated from the TiVo to a TV360 - https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box

If so, then migrations to TV360 are voluntary but also irreversible. It's quite common for VM sales to offer a conversion as part of the re-contract process, but it's never compulsory unless part of the package was Disney+ or Paramount+ which are not available on TiVo/V6.

Once your account has been migrated to the TV360 platform, then any reversion involves a complete rebuild of your account - which VM will not undertake lightly. The TiVo's are also being actively replaced with V6, which run the same software.

I would be willing to rebuild my entire account just to get my box back. do you think its possible?

What were the specific circumstances around you choosing to convert to TV360?

As mentioned above, migrations are voluntary but not reversible.

I'm 99.99% certain that VM will not see "buyers remorse" as a reason to change your mind.
