Can't get into TV GO app

Is there a problem with signing in on the Virgin TV Go app using android tablets ?. My wife has a Samsung Galaxy Tab 'A' and uses it to view saved programmes on our Virgin 360 box and everything worked fine until yesterday when she got a prompt to sign in after opening the app on her tablet. When she clicks on sign in, the screen goes blank & the only way out is to go back and try again - tried the register button & got the same blank screen.  I have cleared the Google browser cache and made sure cookies are accepted, I have cleared the data and cookies in the app then uninstalled it & rebooted the tablet, however after reinstalling the app, the same thing happened.  The odd thing is she can access and view the stored programmes on her mobile phone and I can do the same on my phone. I have read other people have a similar problem and some have sorted it by doing the things I have tried and some people had their app suddenly start working again for no reason. Any suggestions apart from getting her a new tablet.

    yes had it since beginning of week - called and told is a problem - some people who have 2 tablets can with one but not with other - should be 24 hours - still no luck have uninstalled / reinstalled still nothing.

      A week later & no change - I was able to view live tv on the app but after numerous reinstallations etc. I cannot even do that. The app is asking for a sign in for everything but when you try the blank screen appears. I have even though about deregistering the tablet as a last resort but if I do that I would not be able to register due to the blank screen. I think it's time to give up !!

We can understand the inconvenience caused, and we want to do our best to help from here. Just to confirm, since posting, has the issue been resolved? Have you been able to log in here

      Having exactly the same problem. Were prompted to log in on our devices when we opened the app, which I guess was after an update to Virgin/O2?? Worked fine on android and i phone, but get a blank screen when asked to sign in on a Samsung Tab 6. Tried everything advised, but nothing changes. Anybody resolved this yet?

        I hope  < this post> I've just made in reply to another user that has a Galaxy tablet and how I managed to sign into TVgo on my 3 android devices helps.  (Sorry it's long-winded but it was a long process)

    Exactly the same issue posted  numerous times an screenshot the blank screen and nothing. Have submitted formal complaint as been 3 weeks now and have tried every suggestion on different posts on this community..fine on one tablet but not on the other.. 

  • Tried the link. Still unable to get on to the app and now its well over a week and can't get on with either my phone or tablet. So nothing. And what is it with asking Virgin as their bot is useless

  • I can no longer attempt to change my password for virgin media either to try to reset everything on either my tablet and phone. I spent well over a frustrating hour trying to last night night, an hour I can't get back

  • Another week passed and no sign of a resolution to the problem of signing in on a Samsung Galaxy tab. Tried the usual steps again tonight from suggested solutions but no go on Virgin TV Go - I think it's time to give up on Virgin.

      Good morning Pellis,

      We're sorry to hear this isn't resolved. Just to clarify for us please, are you getting a blank screen when trying to sign in? or is this bouncing back to the log in page? Do you get any error message on screen such as 'passkey wasn't verified'?

    There is definitely an issue being able to login to both TV Go and Sky Sports since we've had to connect VM and  02 accounts on Samsung/Android tablets

    I have successfully connected the accounts but since then I've not been able to log in to either App. It was all working the day before I joined the accounts. 

    Sky Sports says access Denied

    TV GO says Ooops there's a problem try again later.

    I can login on ipad iphone and on laptop so its definitley an android issue!!!!

    I've cleared cache etc

    I've deleted and reinstalled the apps.

    NOTHING is working!!!

      What operating software is this running?

      Does it work on a mobile phone at all?
