Is this acceptable? Congestion?

This the last four days, been steadily going downhill for the last few months with frequent disconnects some days, none other days. I often can’t access the webui on 192.168.100.1 btw. I’m in modem mode.

likely too many modems on the upstream or noise causing the data in the modem to try again

Cant read the stats - post again as plain text - but its not a typical "congestion" BQM - but there are some issues evident - one of the upstream qams is dropping.  Lets see the other data.  But will probably need a Tech visit.

Check first though for any “known network faults in your location on the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.

  • The 3.1 downstream channel shouldn't have any uncorrectable errors.

The 23.6 MHz upstream channel shouldn't be at 16QAM.

The 3.1 upstream channel should be at a higher modulation than 32QAM.

Noise on upstream and downstream. Hub may be defective else area network is in need of love.

  • Hi there Michael99 👋 Welcome back to our forum and thanks for your post.

Sorry to see you've been having issues with your connection. I've checked things on our end and there doesn't seem to be any obvious reason as to why you'd be having these issues. I'll pop you a DM to confirm your details so this can be checked further.

    Regards

    Nathan
