How to use a 2.4ghz wi-fi network?

This might not be the right page to ask this question but I'm with virgin & I've just bought a doorbell camera & It says I must connect to a 2.4ghz WiFi network as 5ghz won't work.

I assume mine is 5ghz because i can't connect to it. I'm completely lost & have no idea how to do this, any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

VM Hubs transmit both 2.4 and 5Ghz simultaneously, so you may need to temporally switch off the 5Ghz band until you connect your doorbell.  Log into the Hub on 192.168.0.1 and disable the Smart Optimisation and the 5Ghz band.  Once the doorbell is connected, you can switch these things back on again.

    VM Hubs ( all models ) offer both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.

Many customer have made progress by temporarily disabling the 5GHz Wi-Fi
band during the configuration of their CCTV devices.

This caused the mobile and the CCTV device to both be on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band.
