Hi sarahSB
Welcome to the Community Forums.

Though a second line can be possible, with say a residential service and business service, with rented accommodation, you must have the permission of the homeowner/freeholder of the property for us to be able to install at a home. If your landlord permits another broadband installation, then this may be something you can request.
If your landlord is concerned with who accesses their network in the home, they can create a guest network that will allow limited access to the home network. You can find more on guest networks here.
