Cable already on virgin box

 

Hi. Just got my quick start through. Just moved into the flat and there is already a black wire hanging out of the box. Unable to use the cable VM provided what do I do to get connected?

      Doesn't the new connecting cable simply push onto that black connecting wire ?

      They are designed now to do so - they no longer "screw on".

    Yep, as above from goslow   Screw one end of the adapter into that black cable end, and the VM Quickstart cable will just push onto the other end of the adapter.  Job done.
