Zeberdee bouncers

Why have I not received one offer either by email or call.  My contract finishes in a week.  I tried to login a couple of weeks back to see any offers but it says start a conversation.  I appreciate that retentions may not call but not one email of offers?  

Also.  Footnote you say 'when you come on board you wd hv had and offer, that's why new business get the same offer'.  Well folks from a logical point of view.. new business sign up for 18 months then bounce back to Sky etc, 2 years later bounce back to virgin, 18 months later bounce back to Sky.  Do you get the picture?  Summary us mugs you get all that extra revenue when the 'magic roundabout Zeberdee bouncers leave you'!

    VM wants you to get in contact with a sales agent who will then try to upsell you more services than you might choose from a generic renewal offer.

    Do you have marketing options on in 'My Virgin Media'? If not, that can stop any retention calls.

    I have read past topics on here where customers have mentioned retention call backs only happened right at the very end of the 30 day cancellation period (by which time the customer had made other plans).

    In some cases a call back never happens.

      Hi thanks for response.  God knows what my prefrences are.  You tick the box and it says you've opted out!  Don't tick the box and you're still opted out.  I've already started moving my old emails (not many left on it now).  Just frustrating, full package for years and not a peep out of them.  Even the colleague who started the cancellation process said retentions may call and I said fine.  Ahh well, probably not rang cus I haven't done the one switch yet and think im going to "cower under the pressure" 🤣  and going to beg them to keep me day before end,  well dangerous game to play and I won't!
