Tnt sports removed on renewal but still advertised as included on the maxit tv package.

Tnt sports has been removed from my tv when  I renewed online even though my contract clearly states I have maxit tv and tnt sports is advertised as part of the maxit tv package.

Customer service on the telephone no help and they directed me to online help who directed me to whatsapp help who have then not responded.

Would not have renewed if tnt wasn't advertised as part of the package.

Any ideas how to sort this out or will I have to go through ofcom?

  • If you stay on the package called Maxit you'd keep TNT but any discounts would end.  You've probably renewed to Mega which doesn't have TNT.

  • Hey Gjh76, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear this.

As mentioned TNT sports is now an add on it is not included with the above deal.

Does your new paperwork state TNT was included?

      Hi Matt,

Thanks for the reply. The new contract definitely states maxit package which the website says includes tnt.

      Cheers

      Greg

As mentioned below by nodrogd, it is not included.

If you check your paperwork if it was listed it would state TNT sports as a separate add on.

Does it state TNT sports anywhere on your contract?

If you had it before and renewal you would loose it unless added on at £18 per month.

I wish VM would update their systems. Maxit TV is a legacy package now. It is no longer sold & hasn’t been for around 6 months, so any changes or renewal of contract puts you on Mega TV which is the current “full” bundle. VM are no longer allowed to include the TNT channels in these bundles as TNTs new owners, Warner, won’t allow it.
