Still waiting for my Refund

Virgin Media refund

I have been out of contract for a while now and I have been awaiting my refund. For some reason, this seems to be a difficult concept for VM. Do I need to go down the County Court Route or head back to the Ombudsman?

  • Hi JC6310,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

We're sorry to hear you're still waiting on a refund. Any credits are held on the account for 35 days after disconnection to allow for any unbilled charges. Once 35 days has passed, the refund is then processed by the team and is usually received within 7 days for BACS, and 14 days for cheques.

If it's been over 45 days since the disconnection, pop back and let us know and we can look further into this for you.

    Many thanks,

  • Thank you for your response, however, as VM are in control of billing, there is no good reason to withhold my refund. It is highly likely that I will head to small claims court on this as I have had more than enough of Virgin media and their lack of integrity and professionalism.

    Regards
