Solved

Recently joined Virgin, my account says your first bill will be ready on the 19th, nothing yet?

Had no email about it and like I said my account says 'bill not ready come back later' but it also says first bill will be ready by 19th December... is it normal for it to be delayed?

Thanks!

  • Hi AlwaysTheKop91 👋.

Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with your bill. It is not common for delays to occur on the bill. So that we can look into your account we would need to bring you in for a private message, please look out for the envelope on the top right of your web browser or if you are using a mobile device, it will be located under your profile icon.

    Thanks.

That’s normal for new customers. The date shown is only an estimate — the first bill often appears a day or two later while the system finalises your account and discounts. It’ll show up automatically once everything is active. Afterwards it's more predictable. My bills always come out on one of these days: 17th, 18th, 19th.

Note that the direct debit date can vary between 22 and 25 days after billing date as VM submits DD instructions to the bank in batches and not all at once.
