My email address is linked to previous account number, and I cannot log into my current account number

I were a Virgin Media customer and now I am rejoining again.

I register an online account again with the same email. Now, my email address is linked to two account numbers, the previous one I had with Virgin Media, and the current one which I am using. 

But when I tried to log in, I can only log in to my previous account number, so I can't view and do anything with my current account number.

    We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty logging in. We've recently made some changes and you're now required to have a VM O2 ID. Once you've created this, you can link both your VM account and O2 account so everything is under one ID. If you don't have an O2 account, this step can be skipped.

    To create a VM O2 ID, please click here. Click on Sign in and then follow the steps to create your ID. If you run into any issues, you can find further help on this here. When linking your VM account, the account does need to be active and installed. If you're still waiting on this, please hold off on linking the account as it will cause an error.
