link your Virgin Media account to your Virgin Media O2 ID

It seems like many new customers are experiencing the same issue.

I’m trying to link my virgin media account to my virgin media o2 ID to basically manage my online services and set up skysports etc on my phone but keep getting error messages:

 'We've found your Virgin Media account. However, this account is linked to an email address that's different to the one on your Virgin Media O2 ID'

I'm definitely not doing anything wrong as I only have one email address but it says one attempt remaining. It looks like this is a common issue online but no idea how to resolve!

  • Can I arrange an appointment for someone to speak to me on the phone to talk me through the steps to link my accounts and log in? I’m at a loss of what to do

      We would need to advise that we cannot issue call backs to users over our digital platforms and would only be able to assist whilst working in written text.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with registering your online account. 

    Have you been a customer of Virgin Media previously at the same address at all?

      I have previously been a virgin media customer at the same addresss about 18 months ago. I’ve been advised to switch my email account to a third party email for verification but I’m now struggling to even get to the stage of logging in to my virgin account. It just refreshes my screen then kicks me out

        Thank you for your response Joewoodier Are you getting this issue on our app or our desktop version? Can you also let us know if this occurs on alternative devices? Is there a specific error you are seeing?
