How to stop these texts and phone calls
I am not a Virgin customer and haven’t been for over 20 years. For the past several years, I’ve been getting mobile texts from Virgin Media about an account that isn’t mine. I cannot get anyone at Virgin to stop these. It’s virtually impossible to progress past the robots because I don’t know the name, postcode or account number that has been erroneously associated with my mobile number. This person clearly gets behind on his bills, and it’s now progressed to my getting phone calls. But when I answer I just get automated security questions that I can’t answer because it’s not my account (for example, it asks for two numbers from a postcode and doesn’t recognise my actual postcode so won’t let me speak to a person to explain the situation). Blocking works for a little while, but not forever. Any suggestions, I’m sick of this & have created this sign-in to try to get answers.
