Have I been mis-led?

I've currently in contract with EE and I've just had a virgin sales rep knock on the door offering there new installed virgin in my area, I said but I'm already in contract with my current ISP EE, 12 months+ he said that is fine and he will handle that and virgin will be the early exit fees so I agreed to the new pckage, however after looking it up virgin doesn't do this, so it looks like I've been mis-led and he just wanted his comminsion and I've fell for it due to being cheaper a month and double the speed i have now.

I'm going to phone virgin tomorrow to either send proof by letter or email stating they will pay my exit fees if not I will be making a complaint and canceling the order and letting my current ISP know.

you have it right - he lied - i dont think any amout of complaining will get anyone to do anything

and if you do ring dont accept the [likely] nx lie that they will send an email to confirm anything

      Good morning lbuk

Thanks for posting and welcome to both the community and indeed Virgin Media.

Sorry to hear you've got this dispute over the order.

I'll send you a PM now to investigate.

      Best wishes.

There is no way Virginmedia will pay your exit fee.

I've just been on live chat with them and the agent said virgin media will cover the exit fees, I have taken a screenshot of this, but reading other peoples experience im not sure what to do or believe

Personally, I'd cancel and just wait out your EE contract.
