Contacting Virgin Media

Why do you have to tell the Virgin computer you are dead before you can speak to a human about any issue?  *Use the app, thank you  ... goodbye"  Goodbye Virgin.  The customer support system is appalling, and for the cost, relative to the competition  Virgin is just not worth the difference.  I've been with Virgin and the various antecedents for probably 25 years and if I did not have a blueyonder address that many people world wide use to contact me I would leave Virgin straight away. The exorbiatant cost, the service and the intermittent faults that seemingly cannot be solved just make the decision easier.

    The commonly held view of regulars on here is that the days of VM's email service are numbered.

    Put some time and effort into migrating away from the hopelessly-unreliable VM email service, to a new non-ISP email provider, and then enjoy the experience of ditching VM altogether for something that is better/cheaper.

  • Being dead wouldn't make any difference to VM, they'd still chase any debts however they could.

  • It's okay to tell your friends around the world that you have a new email address. People do change this stuff now and again. In fact they are probably all wondering why you have stuck with that funny old Blueyonder email address for so long. 

    BTW what is the query?
