Can't link to Virgin Media 02

My dad can't seem to link to his Virgin Media 02 account.

We've been trying for over 2 weeks and no reply from Virgin Media.

We've created an O2 account but when we try to link to Virgin Media account, a message appears that the password isn't verified.

  • I've tried Bing and Chrome.

    I've set up a Virgin Media O2 ID with my Gmail account. When I log in with this email and select link to my Virgin Media account, my blueyonder email comes up and when I enter the password an error message appears 'password not verified'. I've tried the new password and the old password and neither work. Is it possible to send a temporary password for the blueyonder log in?

  • It's only on the Web browse. I don't have a smart phone so no app

  • Yes, the issue is my password is not verified and when I try entering the security information, its not accepted either.

  • My dad has submitted 2 IT tickets and a complaint via webchat, but he's not had any response and he's not had access to his account now for 3 weeks and not 1 response from Virgin Media.

      If you can either, get your Dad to post on our Forums and then we can help, as it's an account holder only issue, or call us on the numbers given above, we'll be able to check.

        Hi

        I am the account holder and I'd really appreciate assistance linking my account to my Virgin Media O2 sign in. 

        It's been over 3 weeks since I've been able to access my account!

  • The link doesn't give any information on how to verify the password. We've set up a Virgin Media O2 ID but when we try to link it to the virgin media account, an error message appears stating Can't verify password??

      Sorry to hear that your dad still link the online accounts. And for any inconvenience this may be causing. As we'd need to speak to the account holder, we'd ask that your dad reaches out to us from his own profile. Alternatively, he can call on 0345 454 1111 from any other network. Or 150 from our landline service.

    This making a new password? try a longer upper/lower case and numbers

      We've followed all the steps and when we try to link the new Virgin Media O2 to his Virgin Media account,an error message that the password can't be verified appears. No information on to verify the email.
