Cannot sign into my Virginmedia account

After shutting down my computer this morning, and then restarting it, I have been trying to sign in to my Virginmedia account.  I have not been able to do so. I have tried two browsers.  Safari eventually came up with an error page saying there was a security issue.  When I then tried to sign in from the Virgin media community page I was told that my postcode and surname were not recognized as having a Virgin media account. 

Can anyone assist me?
