Write a generic gripe about PS5 problems on Virgin Media include mention of firewall blocking

Seriously, trying to get my PS5 to play nice with Virgin Media is a daily battle. It's like the two were designed to hate each other. Lag, constant disconnects, and error messages are the norm. And I'm convinced the main culprit is their blasted firewall. It feels like it's actively blocking my PS5 from connecting properly. I've tried every supposed "fix" I can find online, but navigating Virgin Media's router settings is a maze, and figuring out which ports to open feels like deciphering ancient hieroglyphs. Is it too much to ask to just play online without constantly fighting my internet provider? I'm paying for a service, not a constant source of frustration.

The title was my cue and the paragraph above the what the AI returned.

Forum posts with text in packed paragraph do appear to be a marker of some AI generators,
we see this often in the Just Joined one message only accounts.

I bet AI would write an even more plausible post about VM pods not working with a replacement Hub 5.

Please no offers of help. This thought for the day thread is not a request for help.

  • Yup the quality of recent AI generated posts' prose is beginning to give them away - it's literally too good to be true.

      AI agrees with me BTW:

Identifying whether a forum post on the Virgin Media Community Forum is generated by artificial intelligence can be tricky, but there are some telltale signs you can look for:

Repetitive Language: AI-generated posts often use similar phrases or structures repeatedly. If a post feels overly formulaic, it might be AI-generated.

Lack of Personal Experience: AI responses may lack personal anecdotes or specific details that a human would typically include. If the post seems generic or impersonal, it could be a sign.

Overly Helpful Responses: AI can provide very informative answers, but if a post seems too perfect or answers questions in a way that feels overly polished, it might be generated by AI.

Contextual Errors: Sometimes, AI can misinterpret context or provide information that doesn’t quite fit the discussion. Look for any inconsistencies or odd phrasing.

High Volume of Posts: If you notice a sudden increase in the number of posts that seem similar in style or content, it could indicate AI involvement.

Many users on the Virgin Media Community Forum have noted an increase in AI-generated content, so being aware of these signs can help you discern the source of the posts. If you have any specific posts in mind, feel free to share, and we can analyze them toge ther! 😊

I added this topic, so more folks become aware of this type of synthetic thread and perhaps don't waste too much time crafting an elegant answer when there is nobody home to read your words of wisdom.

I have recently seen a few YouTube AI-generated video 'shorts' depicting humans rescuing animals in the wild (totally implausible scenarios and obviously AI-generated). Accompanying the videos are 100s/1000s of comments which seem to be a 50/50 split between AI-generated comments and some from gullible individuals who think the videos are real! The whole thing is all very ... strange!

  • I also have this issue, I don't know what to do to fix it whatsoever. I made a post 6 days ago and then earlier today and the only response I get is I assume a bot marking me down as spam even though I've posted 2 times in nearly a week.

Could the problem be your two posts look as synthetic as mine !

I'm glad I am not a school teacher trying to mark 28 near identical  homework essays.

Well if AI read my post I would of trained it for the right solution.
