Virgin Bills

I'm getting to the stage where, with all the increases in energy bills, I won't be able to afford my Virgin Media bill much longer. I am an 80 year old pensioner on a fixed income, and my neighbour who is also with Virgin Media, pays much less, and with more features. So, having been with VM since the NTL days, I feel a move would be preferable, but I don't really want the hassle of changing providers, and all the problems that brings. Can anything be done to reduce my bill?

You need to start researching what your alternatives are, for whatever combination of services you have. Price up how much, and where from. Once you have all the facts & figures, settle in your own mind what you're willing to pay to remain with VM and contact Retentions to negotiate a new package for the services you want.

If VM offer a price you're happy with, then accept it there & then - offers are usually "of the moment" & the Martin Lewis "ask the cat" approach doesn't work with Virgin. If you can't get a price you're happy with, then give your 30days cancellation notice and start the process of signing up with your chosen new provider.

Fundamental to this, is having your facts & figures in-front of you when you call. It's not something you can do via this forum.
