Hi renra
Have you tried a different HDMI cable and/or different HDMI port?
Which TV set top box do you have? < tivo, V6 or TV360 > or < Stream box>
Is the screen blanking on certain channels (if so which ones) or all channels?
Does this just affect live TV, or is it On demand, apps, or recordings?
On the and Stream 360 boxes this generally happens on netflix due to a difference in frame rates, but can also appear when changing channels, or when channels switch from live TV to adverts.
If it's either the Stream or 360 then go to Settings > Audio & Video > Match frame rate
If it's set to ON then people do see a blackout when the 360 or HDMI reconfigures for the difference in frame rate.
If it's set to the default (Off) then the box just accepts the frame rate difference which isn't noticeable by most users and shouldn't blank the screen out.
