TNT Removed from package
Hi - I am furious that TNT seems to have been removed from my package despite it still showing in 2 places on 'My Account' page as being included in the Maxit package. Inclusion BT/TNT sports was the thing that persuaded me to upgrade to Maxit TV package on an unsolicited marketing call. When I logged on to watch the cricket I discovered it had disappeared, at first thinking this was a technical issue I contacted customer service and after 3 hours on the WhatsApp the agent was still unable or unwilling to say that it had been part of the package and removed or explain why still shown in graphics on my account page as part of current service. All they could do was try and charge me an extra £18 to watch it!! I am still waiting for a response to the complaint I have submitted but suspect will be pointed to small print in T's & C's which I will have to accept. Still is around happy customer service and value for money so at least only need to wait til December to break all ties with VM and go elsewhere.1.6KViews0likes11CommentsAccount cancelled without consent
So today after receiving a higher bill than expected due to me been out of contract I wanted to discuss reducing my package to a reasonable monthly amount, can’t do this over the phone as virgin wants me to clear next months bill as well as this one before I speak to anyone over the phone, I managed to get through to someone by going through collections, however the person at collections managed to block my memorable password which has worked and been the same for 11+ years, to the next person who blocked my account further meaning I couldn’t speak to anyone over the phone to then trying to speak to someone online who would only give me one package option at the highest package I am on but wouldn’t give me prices for other bundles. move forward an hour and I have just received correspondence to say that my disconnection date is the 16th August. Hi all On December 1st I received an email saying "Happy with your current package? Renew Today!" Same package, same speed and less hassle! I clicked the link "Renew your contract where I was taken to a page that showed me that I would be getting exactly the same as I get now (top package with Virgin Media 360, Netflix, Tv Essentials, Documentaries, Drama, Lifestyle , Sport Lite, Sky Cinema UHD, Kids Pick, TNT Sports, Sky Sports HD, Sky Sports and Cinema HD. Gig1 Fibre Broadband, Phone Line Rental and Anytime Chatter.) I happily renewed the contract for another 18 months and I got an email with the contract agreement (removed ) and also an order confirmation email with estimation activation date of Monday 4th December (reference removed It has been radio silence since. I received another email today "There's still time to renew your exclusive offer" - Clicking onto it it once again stated, Happy with your current package? Renew Today!" Same package, same speed and less hassle! Sky Sports and Cinema HD and MEGA TV. NO TNT or NO NETFLIX detailed - This isn't what I was sold and isn't the same package. Order confirmation number removed and activation date Monday 18th December. When calling Virgin or getting through on Whatsapp chat, no one has a clue what's going on and I'm getting to the end of my tether. My current contract isn't up until March 1st and despite the email clearly stating, the same package and less hassle. I've ended up with neither!! I have all the emails saved so can add pictures as proof if needed. Please can someone help me so I can get this sorted?!
