I recently transferred to Virgin Media from Vodafone and kept my number. Apple ID is now saying my Vodafone number is not registered to this device and I have 7 days to correct.
Many thanks for the suggestion, would never have thought to check that option.I’m happy to report it’s cleared the error for both iMessage and FaceTime.
OK, left it for over 24 hours and it's still reporting my number [MOD EDIT: Removed] (the one transferred from Vodafone) is not associated with this phone. I have 5 days left before the use of iMessage and FaceTime expires.
Thanks for the reply but I’m afraid that hasn’t worked.Tried turning both off at the same time then restarting then individually.Any other ideas? Thanks.
