Thanks for your suggestion. Much appreciated but I think I am going to have to continue using two remotes. The auto on/off on the sound bar worked OK. Thanks.

Tried this again today. Set 360 to power on  set TV to hdmi but no setting for cec. Still needing to use both remotes. Thanks for trying. Graham 

Tried again with new batteries and followed your suggestions. Must accept that my TV is too old to fit the bill. We can manage with the two remotes until we upgrade further. Thanks againGraham
