I managed to get a better price on exactly the same package and then the link worked perfectly, kept my history on Netflix. I hope the link problem has been sorted by now, my guess is that if for some reason you did not get the original email, containing the Netflix link, then it caused massive problems. But to answer your question, it saved me money. I saved on the Netflix subscription amount (for 6 months I think), and then I wil start paying the subscription through VM. Worse case situation, I cancel everything and rejoin Netflix.
