Having had the same issues as many others I attempted to create an account with an alternative email address to the one I used to purchase the service. This then gave me an addition screen of fields (Account number and Area code) to complete before moving to the create password screen. Having done this, I could successfully create an account and once verified by the new email address I was able to select my usual email address as the main login/username. Complete farce, but it appears to be the only solution I could find myself. Admin and customer service have been less than useful throughout this entire debacle. I, like most have tried multiple passwords, even random combinations of letters and numbers. This isn’t user error!!! This is a problem with your systems and needs fixing immediately. Re: You can't use that password My advice to anyone experiencing this issue is to not waste over an hour on the phone to customer services. You will simply go round and round and round and round telling the poorly trained customer advisers the same information. I'm genuinely appalled that this is my first touch point with VM as a new customer and am seriously considering cancelling the installation, which is due next week. Utter rubbish. I’ve also tried with and without each element, such as upper case/no upper case etc Re: You can't use that password New user here also frustrated that I’m unable to create an account as I get the same message regardless of device or browser/app. How is this being resolved for other users? I have tried the simple passwords as recommended elsewhere in this thread and multiple other connotations, to not avail. Any help from admin appreciated.
