Slow ethernet

My WiFi works fine I get the 220mbps speeds. it's just ethernet I have not seen it go past 120mbps. I have factory reset the router and still very slow. It also dips down to 50mbps on ethernet.

No i saying that i was to leave virgin media wifi. Any way is this a scam or no.

I have talked with virgin and they don't want to help. I am now stuck with this 18 months contract. Is there anything I can do.
