The gentleman I spoke with took my post code and said my property was "not serviceable" I explained about my neighbour at number 11 having a cable pulled and now getting your Gigabit broadband offering. He could not explain this and said he would ask about getting someone to pop out and do a site survey and asked if he could put me on hold whilst he checked. I was on hold for about half an hour and then the I was cut off! Re: Cable my street Hi, So I am back to post in this topic again. I was talking to my neighbour, lives in the same street, same post code etc. I am number 6 he is number 11. So why am I back? The reason is they had a cable pulled to there property and are on your Gigabit broadband offering! Can someone get back to me again on this and run some checks for me. Cheers Re: Cable my street Travis_M wrote: Hi MiloK Thanks for your response Sorry to hear no one has contacted you as of yet, I'm going to drop you a private message now to check on this. Please keep an eye on your inbox. Regards I have not received a private message? Re: Cable my street Matthew_ML wrote: Hey MiloK, thank you for doing this. I can confirm you will get a call within 10 working days from the specialist team who can discuss with you. Please do let me know how it foes. Thanks Well there you go, no one bothered to call Re: Cable my street Hi, I have replied to your PM with the relevant details. Re: Cable my street How many different ways is there to explain this? 1. You do service this area 2. The infrastructure has been in place for ages. 3. I can see the infrastructure from my property. 4. Every single property in my small area, my neighbors, can get your services. 5. The small little side street that has just two buildings on it, that comes off of a road that gets your services, was missed when they pulled all the cables. 6. All that is needed is for a cable to be pulled to my property Re: Cable my street And just to add I did register my interest when I first moved here Re: Cable my street Hi, Not being funny but you 100% do service the area, that much I know All the properties surrounding mine have, or can get, VM services. It seems when you put your services in around the neighborhood the little bit of offshoot road, that has just two properties, got missed off the cable runs. All the infrastructure is there, just no cable run. Re: Cable my street MiloK wrote: Hi, I may be moving to a new property and looking to see if broadband and tv services are available, the postcode is: EH54 8ND Availability checker says not available but neighbors in front, behind and across the road can all get Virgin services. If it is because no cables have been pulled to the property would it be possible to get that done? Any help for the Virgin Media team would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Milo Hi, I am asking about this again because I would really like to get VM services. I was in a private conversation with a member of staff about this back in February but she stopped responding and I never got a resolution or satisfactory answer. I have attached a screenshot of a map of the area and the two sets of properties, one of which I live, that do not have VM services are in the red box. All the other properties around can get VM, my neighbors across the round can get VM, just my little road can not. I would be great if someone from VM could get back to me on this. Kind regards, Milo Re: Cable my street Hi @Christy_D This would be for new services. Many thanks, Milo
